First, you will be transferred on a comfortable bus from Sharm el Sheikh to port Nuweiba, then be transferred to the ferry, which will take you to Akkaba (Jordan Port City), where, you will be met by your guide in Jordan and after that, you will be driven to Petra (it takes about 3 hours on the bus), where the 2-3 hour excursion begins. To get to the city, you must walk, ride a horse or walk along narrow, winding gorges about 1 km.
After arriving in the city, you will visit the Al-Hazne Farun Treasury – This majestic monument of antiquity is carved in solid rock and has a height of about 42 meters and a width of 30 meters, a Roman theater, tombs of kings, as well as hundreds of monuments and obelisks, all carved from several darkened layers of red sandstone.
